QTIS/e partner in 2 successful BMM programs

BMM announced today that seven projects will receive research funding for over 50 million Euro. After a thorough review process, assessment by the International Scientific Advisory Board and a proposal by the Management Team the Executive Board decided to fund 7 projects. QTIS/e is partner is 2 projects:

-SMARTCARE led by principal investigator Prof. Pieter Doevendans of University Medical Center Utrecht. This project aims at developing smart microtissues for cardiac regeneration.

-iValve led by principal investigator Prof. Mark Post of Eindhoven University of Technology. iValve aims at developing instructive scaffolds for in situ tissue engineering of heart valves and arteries
