QTIS/e was one of the three nominees for the Biobusiness award 2008. The BioBusiness Award is an award for the most promising start-up of the year in the field of Life Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. The award is initiated by the BioBusiness Event and the Committee BioBusiness of Niaba, BioFarmind and Yels.net. With this award they aim to promote entrepreneurship in the Life Sciences and to create visibility for new start-ups in this sector. Although QTIS/e did not win the award, the jury entitled the presentation “most sparkling” and considered the business idea “very promising” and of “high social relevance”.
