The Event Vrienden van Wetenschap ("Friends of Science") is an initative of the Dutch Innovation Platform. The goal of the event is to gather representatives from government, universities and industry to share and align thoughts on Innovations in the Netherlands in order to put innovation high on the agenda of the Dutch national politics. QTIS/e was invited to present themselves as a representative Dutch innovation-driven University spin-off company.

Prime-minister Balkenende, chairman of the Dutch Innovation Platform was highly interested in the business case of QTIS/e. After talking to QTIS/e he went on to perform his opening speech, in which we were mentioned as an excellent example of innovative Dutch R&D.
