The final of the Simon Stevin Gezel Award 2010 was held as part of the annual STW conference. In a short 7 minute  presentation the three finalists tried to win the votes from the audience for their research. With 55% of the votes, Martijn Cox was announced the winner! The Simon Stevin Gezel Award is an annual award for PhD researchers that have shown outstanding performance in their research as well as in valorization of their research. Martijn Cox may use the award of 5.000 euros to boost his scientific career.
