TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

Setting the correct tyre pressure means that you need to know the exact pressure in the tyre at all times, this is not possible if you measure the (dynamic) air pressure of the incoming air in a supply line. For this reason, QTIS decided to improve a TPMS sensor and mount it in the tyre for the most reliable pressure measurement.

For this reason, QTIS decided to improve a TPMS sensor and mount it in the tyre for the most reliable pressure measurement.

Pressure sensors
QTIS has developed a tyre pressure sensor with high responsiveness to pressure changes, ensuring fast reaction times to reach the target pressure in a single adjustment. In addition to tyre pressure, our sensor also transmits tyre temperature and battery status. The sensor can easily be screwed onto the TR618A rim valve, and thanks to its external mounting design, the battery can be replaced with ease. The QTIS Software is fully compatible with these sensors, allowing tyre pressure to be displayed directly on your Virtual Terminal.
Receiver and amplifier
The QTIS-RECEIVER is designed for standalone use of tyre pressure sensors on a tractor. Any trailers are equipped with QTIS TPMS sensors and the QTIS-REPEATER to boost the signal towards the receiver. The QTIS-REPEATER amplifies the signal strength from the tyre pressure sensor, allowing it to bridge longer distances between the tyre and the receiver.
The QTIS-RECEIVER receives TPMS signals from the tractor tyres and the amplified signals from the QTIS-REPEATER on the trailer tyres, converting them into CAN J1939 code for connection via CAN bus to the ECU of either QTIS or the tractor/trailer manufacturer.

Internal TPMS sensors
QTIS has a tyre pressure sensor QTIS-TPMS-... Developed with improved reactivity to pressure changes for fast response times and a 4 times larger battery capacity for a much longer lifespan. The QTIS software is tuned to these sensors for a tyre pressure display on your terminal.
This TPMS sensor uses a 433 MHz radio frequency to transmit not only the tyre pressure, but also the tyre temperature and battery status. The sensors come standard with a hose clamp for mounting around the rim.
External TPMS sensors
QTIS also has tyre pressure sensors available that can be easily screwed onto the TR618A valve of the rim. With the externally mounted TPMS sensor, you can measure the tyre pressures quickly and without many installation problems afterwards. However, this type of mounting is slightly more vulnerable to damage and has a renewable button battery.
Signal receiver and Signal amplifier
The QTIS-RECEIVER is intended for standalone use of the tyre pressure sensors on a tractor. Any trailers will be equipped with QTIS-TPMS sensors and the QTIS-REPEATER (amplifier) for signal amplification to this receiver. The QTIS-REPEATER boosts the signal strength (433 MHz to 433 MHz) of the tyre pressure sensor to bridge a greater distance between the tyre and the receiver.
