The wheel valve has been specially developed for the QTIS tyre pressure control system and offers significant cost and installation advantages, as it requires only a single supply line for both inflating and deflating the tyre.<\/p>

The air line is normally depressurised, so there is no risk of tyre deflation in the event of a damaged or disconnected line. During deflation, the (contaminated) air from the tyre is discharged directly into the atmosphere through a large filter. The sealed design of the wheel valve prevents dirt from entering the tyre \u2014 eliminating internal system contamination.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How it works<\/h5>

The function of the wheel valve depends on the compressed air pressure. When a low pressure (4 bar) is applied, the tyre will be inflated. At higher pressures (7 to 10 bar), the wheel valve automatically switches to the deflate mode to release air from the tyre. To enable this functionality with ease, we have developed a dedicated valve manifold: the QTIS-DPVBA. The switching points required to achieve the correct tyre pressure are determined by the QTIS-TPMS tyre pressure sensors and the QTIS-ECU control module.<\/p>

No more system contamination<\/h5>

Contaminated air from the tyre is filtered during deflation and released directly into the atmosphere via the blue sealing ring. This prevents contamination of your clean compressed air system. The blue ring also provides protection against external contamination.<\/p>

Free choice of mounting<\/h5><\/div>


Four models, all with the same internal parts, offer you the choice on how you want to mount the wheel valve. The QTIS-WVA-IL (IN-LINE) has one intake and one exhaust, and mounts directly to the weld socket in your rim. The QTIS-WVA-PM (PLATE MOUNT) has two outlet ports and is mounted on the rim plate for more flexibility of connection. How it works<\/h5>
The function of the wheel valve depends on compressed air pressure it receives. When offering a low pressure (up to 6 bar), the tyre will be filled. At higher pressures (7 to 10 bar), the valve automatically switches to the exhaust position to deflate your tyre. To make this function easy to achieve, we have developed a special valve manifold QTIS-DPVBA for you. If your compressor capacity is insufficient for high pressures up to 10 bar, we optionally offer a booster set QTIS-PBA230, to easily double your compressed air in pressure.
